Summer is coming and our team is growing. That's why we are in need of a growing number of Event Managers and Duty Managers!
We have full-time, part-time and casual/contract roles available for each of these positions.
You will be organising, delegating, and managing the smooth operation of different events!
We are looking for experienced Event Managers or Organisers. Someone who has great organisation skills, is detail oriented, can delegate tasks accordingly to the right people while also overseeing everything.
As the Event Manager you will be working with both suppliers and clients to deliver a great event. A minimum of one year of experience preferred.
As a Duty Manager you will be managing the responsible sale and consumption of alcohol at our events, and make sure our event is compliant with the laws around responsible consumption.
You will also be helping manage events and look after the variety of different staff that will be working at each event. Finally, you will make sure that throughout the event, a top-notch level of customer service is provided by all the staff working there.
To be a Duty Manager you *must* be holding a valid Duty Manager's Certificate.
Applicants for both positions should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
The ideal candidate:
- For both roles we are looking for someone who has strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Someone who is confident in leading and managing others.
- Ability to work under pressure, and think on the spot in tricky situations.
- Understand the nature of the events & hospitality industry - so that means to work a variety of shifts including days, nights & weekends
